Just checked at the Condon Motel (RON is remain overnight). Dinner at the Elms or the Hotel Condon. It's chilly but no rain like this morning. THAT was brutal. Windy all day, ran through hundreds, maybe thousands, of wind turbines, all spinning at 15-20 RPM. AT 60-80 ft blades that's around 100 mph tip speeds. Wow.
Many thoughts through the day but the biggie was the pleasure of running with the guys. The word lyrical comes to mind - running through curves single file, seeing the bikes in front of me leaning into them, knowing I'm next. Beautiful, like flowing water.
Reminds me why I like to ride.
