Last thing for the bike is to adjust the valves. I really don't enjoy doing it but I like to congratulate myself when the job is done properly. A few years ago I cross-threaded the covers and the only way to fix THAT is to pull the cylinder, which is no small deal. So I must be vewy vewy careful.
I pulled the plugs to I can turn the wheel & get the piston to TDC. The rear plug is black & sooth but the front looks OK. A bit brown but better than the rear. Maybe I'll lean it out a bit, especially since we'll be running at some higher elevations.
