Just so y'all know, Panhead Mike installed Paul's points in his bike, on orders from Bob.  And we all know Mike does EVERYTHING Bob says. 'Nuff said about that.

Howard & Angela Made It

They're back home & we're half way.  Howard called Panhead Mike & told him he was rolling the bike up on the lift to start working on it.  Howard is a wildman.

It's just as well Howard isn't with us, the hotel has a sign in the lobby: "UNREPORTED PETS WILL COST YOU $75 ADDITIONAL"

The bikes at rest.  About 1400 miles since we left Seattle, and very few problems.  The ride isn't over yet but it's really going well.

Klamath Falls OR

Just arrived in Klamath Falls OR, a 10 hour ride.  390 miles, a lot.  We're running a fine line between east & west, too far east and we're running into shut down gas stations, too far west & we might hit rainy coast weather.

So we're running along the east slope of the mountains where there are more bigger towns and gas is available.  We're eating right across the street from a closed gas station right now, in downtown Klamath Falls!

Reading CA

Gassing up. Headed to the Harley store. Spark plugs for Panhead Mike. (Update, 6/24 - we found the HD place but they were closed, no plugs for Mike. Turns out there was no need, we both made it back with no major problems)

Start the Day

Howard gives Panhead Mike a morning hug. Today's destination is Alturas CA. A stretch or two with questionable gas availability so we'll have to do it in steps.
